JOHN A new memorial was dedicated
to our World War II veterans at the State Capitol in St. Paul.
Many WWII veterans were in attendance along with thousands of people to
honor them. Many of our local restored World War II vehicles were on display
on the Capitol grounds.
John's Canadian MKI carrier in front of the MN state capitol. They were
watching me closely to see if I was messing up their concrete! Just a few
scuffs.
The photos on this page were all taken the night before while we were setting
up.
A rare site in the USA. An International 1/2 track. Nicely restored by John
Kottke. It was a hit with the crowd.
The unveiling of John Bizal's newly restored WC 62. The maiden voyage was
from the parking area to the capitol. A few bugs to work out yet. The boys
discussing the details at the rear.
Way too many jeeps for my taste, not enough Dodges.
