Minnesota World War II Memorial Dedication

The day of the dedication. Thousands of people visited. Many of the WWII veterans told us stories about their time in combat. The vehicles triggered many memories.


Dan's Thompson was one of the triggering mechanisms for the memories. Here, two vets were discussing the usage during the war. Another discussed his time in Europe. There were almost 4700 vets registered that day for the dedication. Keep their memory alive, they are going away from us at a rapid rate.
