Montana - April 2007

We brought 14 M37's home from Montana. Most running and in great condition. Here are some photos of the trip.

We started out by flying out on a Wednesday evening to Missoula. Drove east to the ranch Thursday a.m. and this is the beginning of the saga.

A nice motor pool restored truck. Marked Marine Corps, but not a real one. Runs and drives nice.

This one was beaten and put away wet. Not a straight part on it. Running engine, and that was about all that was good. Sad!

3 nice trucks in the shed that had motor pool rework done. Batteries and fuel and they drove out of the building.
Real nice 440 Roadrunner clone car. Parts scattered everywhere in the building.

7 trucks all lined up waiting rework. The first two on the left, and the last one on the right behind the hauler truck got parted out.

Ryan down at the parts pile. What was left of 2 other M37's and a WC51. When we were done, it looked like buzzards had picked the bones clean.

The winch dually truck was once a wrecker. NO, not a military one, just a bubba'd one. The winch and hood were are about all that was good. It was orginally a Marine Corps. We got the correct tail light brackets off of it.

Picking more pieces. We got 2 civilian Dodge cargo boxes. No fenders though. Lots of other trinkets.

Two cabs, one hard top and a pair of 1st series cargo box sides for a FFPW. We had to use the 4x4 loader tractor to retrieve them. A small creek had the ground very soft.

More parts hanging inside one of the sheds. New glass, harnesses, exhaust, lights etc etc.

Ryan loading the second pickup box with more parts. Another one is in front of this one. An M37 box went behind this one.
