Before you get too excited over the Cletrac, look at the frame. Someone
cut the frame and lowered the front idler on both sides. Missing lots of
pieces too.
More M37 carcasses. Almost every one of the cargo boxes were smashed on
the top rails, rendering them useless.
Nothing left of this one. Every last interior piece was out of it. Most
of the trucks were also missing the axles, as you can see.
A short break for the Stars and Stripes reporter, Gary. He had the whole
outfit going, cap, coat, camera, etc.
Supervising the load out. Yes, that is a WWII dated M10 ammo trailer and
it is for sale. The M37 utility body is not for sale though.
Loaded and ready for the trip home.
Gary and Don survey John's keen eyeball find. The other 3 guys missed this
on the way out, and we stopped on the way back.
Yes, I bought it. Very nice truck except for the bullet holes and the missing
cargo box. No rust. The rancher told us it died in a pasture 5 miles from
the nearest road, years ago. They pulled it out just a couple of months
ago, just in time for me to drive by and spot it.
